After adding to my last post with an additional missionary card that I sent, I realized that if you're a friend of mine you probably already have or will receive an amazing card such as the ones below. I love sending cards. If I walk past the card aisle I almost always have to look through it. I have a card collection of all these cards I feel I need, but I never want to give to anyone. Feel really important if you ever receive a card from my card collection.
I'm one of those people that if I see card or something that reminds me of someone I feel the need to give it to them. Especially cards. I once bought a card with two giraffes necking on it because it was the absolute best card for a friend of mine.... don't ask why. There was no reason to send the card except for the fact that it was just too perfect.
I love sending cards because who doesn't love getting a card in the mail?! I still remember as a child how excited I would get when I got something in the mail and how upset I would get when it was just a thank you card. If you didn't know this about me I hate thank you cards. I always have ever since I was a little kid. The feelings of disappoint from a thank you card instead of something cool has always remained with me. Send a card telling the person how awesome they are not a thank you card. Just so you know I have been known to send a thank you note or two, I just really don't like it.

The Greatest Missionary Cards Ever Sent
Inside it said, "Let's be friends forever and ever."
Inside it said, "We'll always be friends. (I swear)."
People are the most interesting thing there is
Gosh, I need to get better at this whole blogging thing. I was obsessed and then I just ditched it...like everything else I start. I guess I felt like I didn't really have much to say now that I'm at home and have been doing basically nothing. In the last few days I have read 4 books and am half way through my 5th. Yes, I have had that much time on my hands. I would like to say however, that The Hunger Games Trilogy is very gripping. I couldn't put any of the books down. I had all three read in 2 1/2 days. They are a little bit on the disturbing side, but alas I loved each and every page.
Sometimes I find books that have a touch of a scare factor keep my interest the longest. Not in the usual sense. I mean I don't like horror. I like seeing people in new lights. It's the same as studying history or watching television, it helps me figure people out. I'm always fascinated by how far people can go, how crazy someone can get or how one person can make such a difference in the lives of so many.
This is one of the many reasons I find myself drawn to art, history, television and literature because I love to look into other people's worlds. I recently had a friend ask me what I loved about film. I told him that it was my way of understanding people, my way of looking into worlds that I would never encounter otherwise. Honestly, I'm not sure if I had ever really realized that was why I love film so much until then. After that conversation I realized that was really my reasoning for being interested in anything. People are the most interesting thing there is.
